Discipline, Responsibility & Respect —

The Foundation of Excellence

At Erode Public School, we believe that a disciplined, safe, and respectful environment creates the foundation for meaningful learning. Our school guidelines encourage students to develop punctuality, responsibility, good conduct, respect, and self-discipline while contributing positively to the school community.

General Guidelines

  • School Handbook: Students must bring their school handbook every day. All required particulars in the handbook must be duly completed and kept updated.

  • School Timings: The school functions from 8:45 AM to 4:00 PM. Students must report to the morning assembly at least 5 minutes before the prayer bell.

  • KG Holidays: All Saturdays and Sundays are holidays for Kindergarten students unless otherwise communicated by the school.

  • School Uniform: Students must attend school in the prescribed full school uniform from Monday to Friday. Students who do not follow the uniform guidelines may not be permitted to attend regular classes.

  • Attendance & Leave: Students should not remain absent without prior permission from the Class Teacher and Principal. In case of illness extending beyond two days, a medical certificate must be submitted.

  • Parent Visits: Parents and guardians are requested not to meet students during school hours. In case of an emergency, they should approach the Principal or School Office for assistance.

  • Leaving the Campus: Students will not be permitted to leave the school premises during working hours without appropriate permission from the Principal.

  • School Property: Students are expected to use classrooms, laboratories, furniture, books, sports facilities, and other school property responsibly. Any form of intentional damage is strictly prohibited.

  • Respect & Discipline: Every student must show respect towards teachers, staff members, fellow students, and visitors while maintaining appropriate behaviour within the campus.

  • English Communication: Students are encouraged to communicate in English throughout the school campus, except during additional language classes and activities.

  • Restricted Items: Students should not bring cash, gold or silver ornaments, expensive valuables, electronic devices, toxic or hazardous substances, or other prohibited items to school.

  • Personal Responsibility: Students are expected to maintain cleanliness, punctuality, good manners, and responsible behaviour both inside and outside the classroom.
